Lucas Hallauer

I was born in New Orleans, LA to a military family and quickly moved to Virginia Beach, VA, where I was raised. I started singing in chorus and went to an advanced dance program once a week in elementary and middle school & In high school, I went to an audition based performing arts high school called The Governor’s School for the Arts in Norfolk, VA. After high school, I attended Coastal Carolina University and earned my BFA in Musical Theatre, graduating in 2023.

Shortly after I graduated, I was part of the original cast of the Second National Tour of Mean Girls: The Musical, in the Ensemble and understudying Damian. After touring with Mean Girls for around 8 months, I joined the original cast of the First National Tour of Back To The Future: The Musical as a Swing and understudying Marty McFly. After about 7 months on tour, they offered for me take over the role of Marty full-time.

I am currently on tour with Back To The Future: The Musical playing Marty McFly. When I’m not performing I enjoy reading, traveling, photography, creative writing, & continuing my nation-wide search for the best cookies and cream milkshake.
